Another year wrapped up: 2025 PAINSTORM annual meeting

The PAINSTORM Consortium met in London on June 19-20, 2025 for its annual meeting. Academic and industry partners, Patient Partners, and the Advisory Board were all present at the meeting.

The consortium gathered at the KCL Guy's Hospital campus to take stock of progress in the last 12 months and discuss plans for the last year of the project. We are looking forward to a busy and exciting year ahead, with:

• the last push to complete baseline recruitment,
• the start of sample sequencing for genetic and biomarker studies,
• the conclusion of ongoing studies of psychosocial risk factors and neuropathic pain phenotyping tools,
• the analysis of the clinical, psychosocial, imaging and genetic data collected during the project
• the release of another PAINCAST episode,
• ... and more!
